Future Females Activates Entrepreneurs in 35 Cities around the World via Virtual Summit

On Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th August, Future Females is hosting their biggest global event yet, the #MakeItHappen Summit to celebrate the company’s 3rd year anniversary. The virtual conference looks to educate, support and inspire as many entrepreneurs as possible by connecting business owners with experts and thought leaders who can show them how to drive growth and success in their business.

The results of a recent global survey of over 1,000 business owners found that 40% of female entrepreneurs are struggling with a lack of business guidance, particularly as a result of the current changing markets and worldwide uncertainty. Along with this, many business owners are also finding it difficult to maintain momentum and motivation during this time, and a lack of financial support and investment is adding to the crisis.

#OwnYourIncome

Following the highly successful #OwnYourIncome Summit, hosted back in April by Future Females, with 13 business experts from around the world speaking to a 6,500 strong audience, Future Females decided to launch their biggest online event yet. They hope to activate 10,000 entrepreneurs to help them navigate this uncertain time, overcome their current challenges, and take crucial steps on their path to success. The summit will give access to the 4 key resources you need to build a sustainable business; Time, Money, Relationships and Energy.

Hosted in partnership with UK South Africa Tech HUB and Payfast Future Females was able to confirm world class speakers from over 10 countries, making this their most global online event to date.

“In celebration of Future Females’ 3rd birthday, we wanted to create something in collaboration with all our international ambassadors, which means a team of 30 women in 12 different countries have been working together to create our biggest summit thus far.” Says Cordula Pfluegl, Head of Growth at Future Females

South Africa as the birthplace of the female focused organisation will also be represented by two extraordinary speakers. Former Miss World, Rolene Strauss, will open the summit with a LIVE keynote on ‘Using Your Time to Strengthen Your Self-confidence‘ speaking to the key pillar of time, while Nic Haralambous, author and serial entrepreneur, will share his insights in a live interview on Day 2 covering the importance of ‘just starting’, and specifically ‘starting now’.

The summit will not only include expert interviews and live sessions, it will also facilitate virtual networking to allow people to make valuable connections for their business and personal growth. This will be possible within the Summit’s Facebook group as well as within dedicated networking sessions where people have the chance to meet 3 new connections on live-video using software called Icebreaker. Another extra activation will be added by the kickoff session of Day 2, consisting of a free virtual Yoga class to get everyone in the right mindset for a productive day.

Many entrepreneurs are held back not just by practical challenges, such as lack of funding and lack of time, but also by intangible setbacks such as mindset challenges. 89% of entrepreneurs admit to dealing with mental blocks such as imposter syndrome, procrastination and the fear of failure. It is evident that now more than ever, entrepreneurs need support, both from a business perspective and on a personal level.

This summit has been designed to help business owners overcome these challenges and take crucial, game-changing steps in their business. It looks to be an incredibly exciting opportunity for any entrepreneurs who are not certain what the ‘correct next move is, and for anyone looking for inspiration, best-practice tips, and guidance during this time.
